  16. No, but they are hacks, they do things at the expense of other things, some
  17. tradeoffs are livable but it is an undesirable situation to rely on.  Workbench
  18. needs more support for the capabilities they want to implement so that they can
  19. be rewritten as support programs instead of hacks.

  33. There is a solution to the workbench question, just make it more accessible and
  34. modular so that external programs can interact with it seamlessly.  An ARexx
  35. port would be nice but I would think something more than that would be required
  36. to allow the functionality of all the hacks out there so that they could be
  37. rewritten and no longer be hacks.
